A key feature of the Model is the integration of Director Development with Corporate Development.
Our experience has shown clearly that the sustained success of a change programme depends upon this integration – we must develop the individuals on the board as we take the company forward.
For this reason, our approach incorporates a series of Board Workshops, interspersed with 1 to 1 sessions for the board members – as defined in the Model. Following each workshop, a review is held with the sponsor to reflect on progress and to ‘tune’ the requirements for the subsequent Workshops. This technique also allows the customer to smooth the required investment, as we jointly define the ‘phases’ of the project.
The aim is to 'sense check' the current structure and strategy proposals and to build both the board team capability and an integrated plan that is owned by the board team.
The Integrated Model is also tailored to each customer's precise needs, and MEASURABLE so that the Chairman and the Board will always know the current status and the priorities to complete the activities that will drive business excellence.
